How can I make socks interesting to read about?

Hello lovelies, here we are again. Today's blogpost may not sound too exciting from the title but I really felt it was necessary to show off one of my recent purchases. You may remember from this postthat I mentioned I wanted to buy some Lace Trim Socks from Topshop. I never buy socks and after browsing Topshop and finding nothing that I was particularly interested in I decided to take a look at the section that has all the socks and tights in it. Socks always seem like a bit of a waste of money to me which is why I get my mum to buy me the cheapest ones that she can find, which usually end up being the most boring ones so for once I decided to treat myself and invest in three pairs of the cutest ankle socks I have ever seen.

Look at how cute they are!

The lace on the top and the patterns make them look so dainty and pretty.

It was very difficult to make a decision on which ones to buy as Topshop had so many of these socks with a lace trim, however I went for a burgundy pair with a black trim, a navy blue pair that has white polka-dots and a black trim and a dusty pink pair with a white trim. It's impossible for me to pick which ones are my favourite but I have no doubt that I'll be returning to Topshop to buy some more!

Styling Tips
Originally I bought all three pairs with the intention of wearing them during the Summer with cute dresses, however I realised that depending on how you style them you can wear them all year round. Here I wore them with my new Doc Martens. You can't see the pattern on the socks but you can see the lace trim at the top giving the Docs a more girly look. In this particular outfit I was wearing leggings but I've since styled these socks with tights and creepers. Obviously they can also be worn with bare legs and a pretty dress.

If you're interested in purchasing a pair or a number of pairs of these socks you can click here and have a look through the selection that Topshop have to offer! They cost £3.50 for one pair or you can pay £8.00 for three pairs.

I'm sorry if this blog post hasn't been the most exciting for you all to read but I felt really excited about sharing them with you all.

Amy x
